The Department of Languages is a department of the Seventh-Day Adventist College of Education (SDACoE). It is currently headed by Mr. Eric Frimpong. The department facilitates English and Ghanaian Language and Literature courses for Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) students. It also facilitates University of Cape Coast Three-Semester Sandwich Programme courses for language students.

Mission
To produce professional graduate teachers who are excellent at teaching English and Ghanaian languages and literature at the basic level of education and to train language tutors to be national and global assets
