The department is committed to ensuring that learners strive for and maintain academic excellence in their various fields of specialization in the Arts. Creative Arts provide opportunities for a learner to self-explore, self-express, build mental focus, skillfully use hands to create (physical dexterity), manage and reduce stress, and achieve personal satisfaction and enjoyment.
The skills acquired through the study of Creative Arts enable learners to improve their performance in other learning areas. As a result, learners are equipped with broad and diverse general knowledge deemed essential for reflective professional artists.
Vision
The Creative Arts are aimed at developing literate individuals, good problem solvers can think creatively and have both the confidence and competence to participate fully in Ghanaian society as responsible local and global citizens.
